Biography
Dr. Ling Tau Chuan has completed BSc(Hons)(Biotechnology) from UNIVERSITI PERTANIAN MALAYSIA and MSc(Environmental Engineering) from UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA (UPM). He took his Ph.D from (Chemical Engineering), BIRMINGHAM UNIVERSITY, BIRMINGHAM, UK. He is the member of following societies: Malaysia Society of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Member, 2009, (National), Federation of European Biotechnology, Member, 2009, (International), American Chemical Society, Member, 2010, (International), CHARTERED ENGINEER OF ENGINEERING COUNCIL, UNITED KINGDOM (CENG), Charted Engineer, 2011, (International), The Institution of Chemical Engineer (IChemE), Member, 2013, (International), Current Biochemical Engineering Journal, Chief Editor, 2013, (International). He worked as Faculty in Ahli Jawatankuasa Promosi Program Fakulti Sains, from 01/10/2015 to 31/12/2017. And he was the Faculty of Science in Jawatan Kuasa Ijazah Tinggi (Fakulti), Institute of Biological Sciences, from 23/07/2013 to 01/05/2015. He was the Coordinator for Master of Biotechnology, Institute of Biological Sciences from 01/07/2012 to 30/06/2013.
Research Interest
Bioprocess Engineering (Bioproducts and Food Processing), Downstream Processing (Bioseparation, Product Recovery, Adsorbent and Porous Materials ).
